  I'm warning all potential patrons to beware lest you contract possible food poisoning! I had lunch at the The Restaurant at River Ridge last week and there were SO many flies I had to ask for my meal to go. I politely asked the waitress if there was anything she could do for my inconvience by taking a few dollars off or a free beer but she said she couldn't. I then asked for the manager who I had met when I entered and he came out and I couldn't believe he refused to offer anything at all. I spent over $30 on a lobster bisque, pastrami pretzel and a couple of beers so asking for a little something as a good will gesture was not unreasonable. I feel neither of them cared and they just said that there are farms in the area and that there are flies. I shutter at the thought of how many flies were probably in the kitchen!!!
  I am in the customer service industry and this restaurant practiced terrible customer service, or should I say no customer service whatsoever.
  I did feel ill the following day for about 24 hours and I attribute it to the lack of sanitation at this restaurant. Do all possible to avoid this venue . . . unless you'd like a burger with a side of flies!

  The best service I have had in a long time. Everything was wonderfully and on point. Totally worth visiting.

  Resteraunt used to be good a few years ago, but I took my wife here in Aug, 2008 for her birthday, and we had some of the worst food I have eaten in my entire life. I can only recal actually complaining to the waitress that the food was bad one other time in my life (I am pretty tolerant), but this food was beyond terrible. Shrimp tasted like the fake rubber ones you use for fishing. Pasta was barely cooked (super al-dente). Fried fish was gewy and cold inside. Even the bloody chicken fingers were bad (way overcooked). It was so bad that I did not even eat mine (this is a first for me).
  We were also one of the few in the resteraunt at the time even though it was dinner time (never a good sign). Pretty expensive too (for the caliber of food).
  I won't be going back anytime soon.
